Executive Committee Endorses Coalition for the Common Good

At its November meeting, the Executive Committee voted to support the goals of the Coalition for the Common Good. The coalition is "an alliance working to protect the homes and pocketbooks of private property owners across Wisconsin and to make state and local government as responsive as they can be to the needs of the community. The coalition believes in good land-use planning and stong environmental laws to protect public health, private property values and community integrity.

Southwest District Rep Vacancy

A vacancy has occurred on the Executive Committee for the southwest district representative. This seat was formerly held by Sue Hill, who resigned in November. The board recognizes the contributions that Hill made during her tenure and anticipates that she will continue to serve WAPA in other roles. Members in the Southwest District are encouraged to contact Chuck Kell (715-346-1334) if they are interested in running for this seat. A special election will be held In January to fill the vacancy.
