Community Development Specialist
MSA Professional Services’ Baraboo,
Wisconsin office is seeking candidates for a Community Development
Specialist position. This person will provide municipal clients with
planning and funding assistance for a variety of municipal projects such as:
Tax incremental Financing (TIF); grants/administration; economic development
tasks; and municipal planning. In addition, this person will be given
project management and client management responsibilities. Duties include
preparation of TIF project planning, grant writing/administration, economic
development strategies and municipal planning studies. Work will involve a
range of planning assignments in southern Wisconsin.
The qualified candidate will possess exceptional writing and
editing skills, familiarity with municipal funding mechanisms, a bachelor’s
degree in planning, public administration, business, or a related field.
Strong verbal communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a
passion for working with communities on the projects that they believe will
make their community a better place to live, work, and play are essential.
