Assists with enforcement and administration of land use ordinances; processes complaints, conducts field inspections and maintains related records and databases; participates in technical review of land use applications; prepares reports and letters; provides technical information to the public and other governmental agencies; provides detailed documentation to legal authorities. Two or four year degree in physical, biological, or environmental sciences; knowledge of zoning codes and land use planning; Certified Soil Tester and POWTS inspector license within 6 months; working knowledge of Microsoft and GIS software.
