Must have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Planning or related field with a one to two years of experience in professional planning and zoning or a Masters Degree in Planning or related field with no related experience. The successful candidate must have knowledge of Comprehensive Planning Process; skills in public presentations and government processes; and excellent writing and analytical expertise. Will assist with land use, comprehensive and economic development plans; grant writing and administration; preparation of TIF Districts, Impact Fee Needs Assessments and Storm Water Utilities; and drafting land use regulations, including zoning and subdivision ordinances. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; overnight travel required.
