Managerial, professional and administrative work in
planning, directing, coordinating and implementing the programs, services
and activities of the Economic Development Division. Requires 5 years
directly related experience in economic development, real estate,
neighborhood revitalization, financing, and related planning considerations;
degree in real estate, economics, business administration, planning or
finance; thorough knowledge of the theories, laws, principles and practices
of economic development, incorporating real estate practices,
economic/business development and neighborhood revitalization strategies,
finance and planning considerations.
Salary for above positions: $77,435 to $104,537
annually. Appointment is made by the Mayor, subject to confirmation of the
Common Council. The terms of employment are established through a
negotiated employment contract with a term of five years, subject to renewal
by the Mayor.
