Assistant Planner
This is a professional position requiring knowledge of planning, community and economic development, housing, land use, development regulations, transportation, sustainability, and grant writing. The individual must have an understanding of planning practices, federal, state and foundation grant programs, excellent written and verbal skills, strong PC skills, and the ability to interact effectively with the public, state and local elected officials, and agency staff. A bachelor’s degree in urban planning or related field and at least two years experience is desired. Master’s degree may substitute experience. Salary range: $37,265 - $42,855 with excellent fringe benefits.
