Template for Data Collection for CM Activities

Providers of professional development may find the following templates useful in collecting data for activities that may be eligible for CM credit, including single and multi-part activities and self-study materials.  Please visit the CM website for more details on the CM program at www.planning.org/cm.

 

Single Activity Details

A single activity is defined as a self-contained, face-to-face event, such as a workshop, at which participants cannot choose among multiple activities. All participants at a single event attend the same activities and earn the same number of credits.

You will need to enter the following information into the CM database for each eligible activity:

This program is one of the Local Land Use Planning And Zoning Wisline Teleconference series produced by the Local Government Center at the University of Wisconsin Extension in conjunction with the Wisconsin Chapter of the APA.

This program will review non-zoning ordinances, court decisions supporting them and how communities use these regulations.  These “police power” ordinances have been used to control junk accumulation, historic preservation, and loud and offensive business uses outside of typical zoning authority.
